Written By Unknown on Monday, March 12, 2012 | 5:50 PM

Many a time you press 'play' and your best friend/enemy/dog or for that matter Men form Mars will press the 'next' button. But then again there are time when you do the same and everyone else will join your Mosh Syndicate as one. That happens when you have All as One on your play list.
All As One is a Post-Hardcore band form New York, NY. With elements of Electronica,
Soul Blast beats, wicked guitar riffs , completed with delicious break downs.

Here, Band Bucket Presents an exclusive interview with Aiden Shaw of All as One.

My name is Aiden Shaw. I am the lead vocalist/frontman for All As One. I play a key role in the promotion, and live performance of the band

Share with us a brief story regarding the evolution of All As One from being an Idea to a band.

It all started when two local bands of purely different genres came together with a shared goal of success, and a strong passion for music. We had played a lot of shows together, but wanted to break out of our local scene. So we got together a few times in June of 2011 to discuss things, and out came All As One. Shortly after starting our page in July, 2011 we won a spot onto the Ernie Ball Stage at the Vans Warped Tour 2011. This being our first show set us off to great start.

What can one expect at an All As One gig? Pure Hardcore Mayhem?

At an All As One gig you really, "get your money's worth" so to speak. Whether it be from the memorable live performance of All As One, or from the members themselves, which frequently interact with the fans. It's always sure to be a memorable experience.

Tell us about your procedure of writing a song, does it come off as an outcome of jam session over an idea, or a single person comes up with the entire song and the rest fill in their parts. Who writes the songs mostly or all of them?

We'll have a rough idea for a song and then over the next few practices/writing sessions we will take from and add to the song until it flows just right.

Why 'Bottoms up'. Absolutely why not, but then again was it a random cover or you guys had any other reasons behind 'Bottoms Up'?

Well we were looking for a cover song to do and our drummer Eric brought the song to our attention. We tried it out a few times, and I guess you could say that it just stuck with us.

How is it going regarding, new songs, any updates regarding an upcoming full length album, or a music video. Or is it going to be only gigs, gigs, gigs for a while?

I'm honestly not supposed to talk about a lot of the things that are going on/coming up with All As One...but I can tell you that we'll be releasing our first EP called "Emergence" this Summer.

Sheer curiosity, do you guys plan on doing any Acoustic song or an acoustic version of any of your songs. I'm pretty sure if you do the outcome will be amazing.

We have actually considered the idea. I can't release the details on that just yet.

What's next for All As One?

We've mainly been focused on playing out a lot more. We have a lot of different things in the works that will be revealed in due time.
